Nose Work Class will prepare you and your dog for competition, or add a new challenge to those searching for fun.

Eligibility

Dogs must be proficient at searching for birch, anise, and clove in novel environments to be eligible for this class.

If your dog isn’t ready for this class, the Nose Work Lessons will prepare you.

Class Etiquette

Handlers should ensure that their dog keeps a safe distance (minimum of eight feet) from any other dog unless there is express consent from both handlers that the dogs may interact.

Dogs should stay out of sight of the search area when other dogs are searching.

Pay attention to the running order and have your dog pottied, geared up, and ready to go before it’s your turn. The running order is posted in the facebook group on the morning of class.

Crating

Be prepared to crate and keep your dog cool in your vehicle. There are no indoor crating options.
